Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: How can I tell if I'm logged into Novell?
Answer:If you're already in Windows but you aren't sure if you are logged into the Novell, look for a large red "N" icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of your screen, near the clock). Right click this icon to display a menu. The 2nd selection from the top is "Netware Connections". This will display a list of Netware connections you have. If you do not see anything in the window at all, you are not connected to the network & you should login again.
Question: How do I login to Novell if I'm already logged into Windows?
Answer:To login to Novell from Windows, look for a large red "N" icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of your screen, near the clock). Right click this icon to display a menu.  At the top of this menu is "Netware Login". Use that to login to Netware again.  If you login again, and you don't have your U: and T: drives, call us and we will help you out.  If we aren't available, please leave a message.  In the meantime, sometimes restarting your computer helps.
Question: What steps are involved in "redoing" my machine?
Answer: When we take your PC to be "redone", we are going by a specific set of steps that configure your machine to run at optimum performance as determined by its hardware. First, we make a backup of your hard drive to avoid losing data. Then we format your hard drive, erasing everything on it. This clears out problems and faulty settings that were previously on your machine, one of the major causes of problems. We then reinstall Windows, Office, Antivirus software, and our other standard software onto your machine.  Finally, we restore your data from backup.  If you use any non-standard software, we will work with you to reinstall it.
